The books of few regional authors are more eagerly awaited than those of Vicki Lane. Well, for those of you who have read Old Wounds (not to mention the first two books in the series), the wait is over. In a Dark Season, the fourth Elizabeth Goodweather mystery, has been published, and Vicki will be at Accent on Books Friday, June 20, beginning at 6 PM to talk about her latest book and sign copies for eager fans. And for those of you who have not yet read any of these compelling mysteries set in the North Carolina mountains, there's no better time to start than now.
